Collective Member Spotlight: Tracy Dailey with Emma's Footprints

Here at Dive Collective, one of our main missions is to encourage our members to use and share their God-given gifts with the world. One of the ways we will be doing this is by sharing what some of our members are already doing in their communities.

Our first member spotlight is on Tracy Dailey. In her usual delightful and engaging way, Tracy tells us her story on Season 2 - Episode 1 of the Dive Collective Podcast

We hope you’ll take the time to hear it from her own lips, but to give you a taste of what to expect, we will provide a little background:

Eight months pregnant with her second child, Tracy Dailey received the horrible news … “There is no heartbeat,” and soon thereafter, Emma Kathryn Dailey was born into heaven on May 30, 2007.

In the way only God can do, this story of brokenness turned to beauty when, in memory of her daughter, Tracy co-founded Emma’s Footprints in 2013 with her friend Kristen Banocy.

Tracy’s experience gave her a heart for other families aching over the loss of a child, and God has taken those gifts He created in her—the drive of her competitive spirit—and has multiplied them, using her to provide comfort and hope all over the world. Emma’s has become a community of dedicated volunteer parents, family members, and friends who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss—each one of whom has healed from the trauma of loss better and faster thanks to the support of a friend, caregiver, or mentor who has “been there.”

Emma’s has already supported more than 1,000 grieving families by providing emotional support, compassionate guidance, financial assistance, and personalized maternal and family care.

Tracy is working in the trenches, meeting people in the midst of their hurt, and is a living, breathing demonstration of the faithful love of our Father.

Take a listen, and when you’re done, consider connecting with Tracy and her team at emmasfootprints.com.
