We are a collection of people captivated by God’s story. We desire to make the Bible accessible to everyone by improving biblical literacy and to lead people to new depths of intimacy with Christ. We believe this is accomplished through the personal work of the Holy Spirit and our attending to it.
Here, within the Collective, we will all grow in our intimacy with Christ as we discover more about His love through a unique, elevated approach to interacting with Scripture and one another. We look forward to coming to the table with the unified desire to study God’s Word, discover who God is, and see His transformational work in every co-image bearer with whom we gather. We trust that as we grow more intimate with Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit, fruit will naturally be borne.
Grace and peace will be our anthem as we make it our mission to celebrate the formational work of God in one another—God is still writing His story all over our lives! We will practice the disciplines of Scripture study, prayer, silence, and solitude as we come to the Word together from different personal histories, cultures, and theological backgrounds.
Why We’re Here
We, the founders of Dive Collective are deeply in love with Jesus. God brought us together in the most unexpected way and showed us the fruit that can come from using our unique gifts for a common goal.
Our great desire is to continuously be fostering an intimate relationship with Christ by recognizing the work of the Holy Spirit, and to disciple others to do the same. We believe that in doing so, fruit will naturally be the outcome.
Coming from a military lifestyle forces us to face the ebbs and flows of life and community at a repetitively rapid pace. Because of this, we are uniquely qualified to recognize the gift that a consistent online community can bring. Our hope is to create an online space in which we lead one another into being a community of people who are paying attention to the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives as we study Scripture and lean into and love the various communities in which we are placed.
